The Collingham Community Cinema was established as part of the first world war remembrance events in 2018. The equipment was purchased using grant funds. It is run by volunteers who set up on cinema nights and work the front of house.
We aim to show recent release films that people might have missed in the cinema or for those that cannot easily get to the cinema for an evening's entertainment.
Before the pandemic we ran a full programme including hits such as: Bohemian Rhapsody, LA LA Land, Darkest Hour, The Greatest Showman and The Shape of Water.
Our admission charge covers the cost of licensing the films for public showing.
Look out for the board outside the Methodist Church to see what is coming up.
